I am a Muslim because Allah (swt) has chosen that for me. I came to Islam when I decided that my major in school was Theology. I studied a little on Islam and was intrigued. Islam taught me many things, and1 was acceptance of what I am. I know many gay Muslims online, but none near me. Truth be told, I am a little afraid that someone on here is a radical and well... you know where I am going with this. So I will have to be very careful. I am not propagating that homosexuality is halal. The only thing I really want to change in mainline Islam, is the idea that homosexuals deserve death. We are people, and as people, we love and fear. We should not be judged for something we can not help. I kindly ask the homophobes to leave the judgments to Allah (swt).
